Cookies
A few weeks ago we decided it would be fun to make and decorate some cookies with friends. I made a batch of spring-shaped cookies (bunnies, flowers, eggs, frogs, ducks, hearts, etc.) and had my crew ready for icing. First we had to mix the icing (if anyone ate a cookie with blue icing on it I'm sure it was top quality...Luke tested it all out before any went on a cookie!). Here you see the helpers: Sam, Sarah, Chloe, and Luke.
Next, we iced the cookies and then poured on the sprinkles.
Then, of course, we had to taste-test a few and show off our hard work.
After his role with the quality control of the blue icing, Luke took his decorating job very seriously. He worked the entire time on one cookie adding one sprinkle at a time. He refused to let anyone take the cookie away from him. He also refused to wait until after lunch to eat it. When I asked him to hold it up so I could take a picture of it, he took that as his go-ahead to chow down.

Great pics! We had a lot of fun today! And I think the cookies with blue icing tasted EXCELLENT!
Not sure why I wrote "today" as it was several weeks ago, but you knew what I meant!
What a crew! Looks like fun.
That looks so fun...nice decorating, Chloe! By the way, when did Sam get so tall? He looks so grown up in that first picture!
Michelle, I was just looking at the pic again and you are right! When DID Sam get so tall? :)
