Blizzard '08
On Friday morning the snow started coming and it didn't stop until Saturday evening. We were officially under a blizzard warning and ended up with a Level 2 Snow Emergency declared for our county. With a total of 14 inches the Michiganders and New Yorkers who I know read this may not be impressed, but Ohioans aren't used to these conditions and it was a big deal. Everything shut down and only "necessary" vehicles were allowed on the roads. So we spent two days shut in together playing games, doing puzzles, coloring, playing hide-and-seek, watching movies, etc. It was fun but we were glad to get out this morning and head to church (unless there is a Level 3 Snow Emergency, our church is not canceled). The first picture of the kids is from Saturday. The second is from today which was a bit more sunny.

So now they have 'stories' about snow that went all the way to their waist. It was really true.
SO cute! We only got 6 and it's all gone now. Hope you're feeling well.
that's an awful lot of snow! cute snow bunnies. :)
It took me over an hour to drive the 4 miles home from work on Friday. It's funny, I passed right by Jason's house about halfway home and thought about just dropping by and chilling out until the snow melted :).
I eventually made it home and it took us an hour and a half to shovel the driveway on Saturday. I say this every year, but next year I'm hiring someone to plow it! :)
Everyone should be able to play in waist deep snow at some point in their lives :)

I'm glad you got to have some real winter. Playing in the snow is such fun. To bad I wasn't there to have fun with you.
