A Day out with Thomas

Saturday we took the kids downtown for a Day out with Thomas. Thomas the Tank Engine comes to visit Lebanon each year and kids can take an expensive ride on his train....or, you can do all the free festivities instead. We opted for the free stuff. Chloe and Luke each got tattoos on their hands. Luke cried the whole time they put his on and then refused to use his hand for any purpose for the next several hours. Then he made sure you knew something was on his hand as he pointed out his tattoo once every few minutes.

Other festivities included pictures with Thomas, an arts and crafts tent where the kids could color Thomas pictures, do stamping, and play with trains, a petting farm, a bouncing tent, putt putt, and of course a merchandise tent.

The only money we spent for our morning out was the $2 it cost us to buy the Dixie Cup full of corn to feed the animals. But it was well worth it for the pleasure it brought Chloe and Luke.
