Visitor

So, you probably logged on today to see some new cute pictures of Chloe and Luke. I have something else for you instead. As many of you know, over the six years that we have lived in this house, Nathan and I have had several interesting visitors. Today, we added a new one to the list. Here I was sitting in my garage, minding my own business painting something for Chloe's room when an animal walks right past me toward the back of the garage. My first thought was that it was a cat as we have several living in nearby houses. But no, it was a gopher/ground hog (is there a difference?). I stood up and it was only then that it even noticed me and ran for cover under the car. I went to get my camera :) Then Nathan threw wiffle balls at it and I chased it out of the garage with a large broom...of course that was after I got down from the freezer where I went to stay safe during the first attempts to get him out of hiding.

You may be sitting there wondering what other animal visitors we have had. I'll tell you. They include wolf spiders, a bat who lived on our front porch for about six weeks, a bloody-eyed oppossum, a peahen, a rather large turtle, and an iguana. Only two were documented. I've attached their pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Well I was looking for some cute pictures and you look pretty cute is a funny sort of way. Yes Janna there is a differance in a gopher and a groundhog. About 12lb. I assure you that is a groundhog. You did well. People would have heard me screaming up on RT 122.LOL
